If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you're going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The OpportunityThe Forklift Operator drives a liquefied gas or battery powered industrial truck equipped with forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in the warehouse or factory.Key Duties & Responsibilitiescommitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresMaintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipmentComplete required quality inspections per customer specifications and paperwork - quality is the responsibility of all employeesWork with peers and other departments to improve quality and performanceProvide an active role in the housekeeping of the assigned areaUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsKnowledge, Skills, Or Abilities DesiredMoves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.Positions forks under unitized stacks, loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.May load or unload materials onto or off of trailers, pallets, skids, etc.Replaces liquefied-gas tank.Qualifications DesiredHigh school diploma or equivalentIndustrial Truck Operator certificatePrevious industrial truck operator experienceComputer data entry and retrieval related experienceHandheld scanner experienceCompensation & benefits:The starting wage for this position is $26.66/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential, with opportunities to train in other positions with higher payRobust benefit offeringsMany advancement opportunities!Two companies, one vision.Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
