Legal, Regulatory & Risk AttorneyDo you want to be a key partner in developing the legal and regulatory strategy for a Fortune 500 company with a brand value exceeding $13 billion? If so, Nasdaq's Legal, Regulatory & Risk group seeks a smart, experienced, creative, and dedicated attorney with securities and corporate law experience to support Nasdaq's data business.Your role and responsibilitiesThis role offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a broad securities and corporate law background (litigation experience is a plus) to handle various business and securities issues in a dynamic regulatory environment. Working with senior legal team members, your typical day may include:Advocating for new rules and regulations, drafting SEC filings, comment letters, and white papers.Monitoring and advising on emerging challenges, including digital assets, artificial intelligence, and other regulatory proposals affecting the data business.Drafting and revising global data policies for clarity, consistency across jurisdictions, and compliance with new regulations.Negotiating contracts, managing global agreements, and handling unique contractual issues.Advising the compliance team on dispute resolution, supporting litigation when necessary.Monitoring for infringement of Nasdaq's intellectual property and unauthorized dissemination of Nasdaq information.Skills and experience requiredJuris Doctor Degree;3-5 years of experience in securities and corporate law, preferably both, gained at a regulatory agency, in-house legal department, or top law firm; litigation experience is a plus;Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal e as You AreNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
