OverviewAssociate Dean of Admissions role at The Catholic University of America. This position serves the Office of Undergraduate Admission, with primary responsibility for recruiting prospective students and increasing enrollment by coordinating office activities. The role represents The Catholic University of America community to provide an undergraduate student body based on national enrollment management and university policies. Salary range is $75,000–$82,000.ResponsibilitiesProvide a leadership role in the Office of Undergraduate AdmissionsSupervise admissions counselors in the absence of the Director of Undergraduate AdmissionsCommunicate accurately the programs and educational opportunities available at CUA to prospective students, parents, and high school counselorsInterview and counsel prospective students and maintain regular contact with prospectsMaintain open communication with schools, departments and offices on campusRead applications each year to evaluate a student’s academic and personal attributes and assess their ability to succeed at the UniversityTravel for recruitment and professional conferencesParticipate in and take a lead role in the development and implementation of special recruitment and yield programs or other departmental projectsAssist with the development of promotional and recruitment materials both print and onlineRespond to inquiries from walk-in visitors on a regular basisServe as a financial aid advisor to families by answering questions and clarifying informationAct as a senior member of the admissions team, supporting recruitment staffStrong customer service and excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational and interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and ability to work both independently and in a teamKnowledge of Office (including Excel is a must); knowledge of SLATE is helpfulStrong understanding of higher education; valid driver’s license; ability to travelQualificationsBachelor’s degreeMinimum of 5–7 years of experience in admissions, including recruitment of studentsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teamsEmployment detailsSeniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Education and TrainingIndustries: Higher EducationReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Catholic University of America by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
