OverviewJoin to apply for the D365 F&O Technical Solutions Architect role at BDO USA.The Technical Solutions Architect provides expertise for clients in performing technical business process management activities. The primary focus is to lead the client and collaborate with the Technical Architecture team to determine best practices and efficient processes. The Architect uses knowledge of applications and tools to guide the delivery and Functional Architecture teams to configure and enhance applications to implement processes as designed. The Architect serves as the lead conduit between business process owners and executives at the client and the technical/functional teams to ensure the application meets the agreed requirements.Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (or as listed in the posting). Travel up to 25% as needed.ResponsibilitiesJob Duties – The Technical Solutions Architect will participate in and lead the following job duties as directed:DiagnoseUnderstand the overall scope and approach for the project in collaboration with the Functional Solutions ArchitectOversee environment management activitiesUnderstand the go-forward set of applications and the integration methodologies to be employedUnderstand Data Migration requirementsCollect non-functional requirements for routine jobs and services as part of the overall solutionAnalyzeCoordinate with the Functional Architecture team to ensure enhancement requirements are collected with sufficient detailAssist with data migration requirements documentationPartner with the Functional Solutions Architect on Independent Software Vendor analysis and implementationReview gap requirements and high-level design for technical feasibilityProvide high-level estimates for proposed enhancementsRecommend strategies for BI and reporting; understand key performance requirementsDevelopManage technical task breakdown for all deliverablesGuide and support Technical Consultants on technical tasksOversee code management and deployment processesDirect unit testing to ensure quality before deliveryHelp develop the Go-Live strategyValidateSupervise each testing wave and code remediation until deliverables are satisfiedManage performance tuning strategyDeploy and SupportExecute the Go-Live deployment planProvide post-Go-Live support to ensure processes function as expected and change management occurredFoster a positive demeanor, learning attitude and client service mentality with the teamTravel – up to 25%, as neededOther duties as requiredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesOwns and drives completion of key workstreams by team members directed by project leadersManages project workstreams as directedMentors and develops entry level and senior consultantsEducation & QualificationsBachelor’s degree AND six (6) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, required; ORHigh School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, requiredExperienceSix (6) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, requiredThree (3) or more years in one of: enacting software as a business process improvement catalyst; implementing business process improvements; designing and delivering software enhancementsSome client-facing best-practice consulting experience, preferredSoftware & Technical SkillsExperience with four or more of the following: X++, .NET/C#, SSRS, RESTful API Web Services, SQL, JSON, and other OO languagesExperience with ADO/Visual Studio/LCS setup and configuration with F&O; ADO Pipelines and Build Runs; D365 F&O functional knowledgeOther Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, documentation, and communication skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer relationship skillsBusiness process analysis, design, and process flow skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced technical environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary ranges vary by location and experience.
