Our focus is on corn, soybeans, and wheat, with potential expansion to other crops. This role collaborates across commercial, government affairs, corporate communications, legal, and regulatory functions. You will utilize collaboration skills, market knowledge, strategic thinking, and analytical aptitude to impact Inari's success with a focus on the value chain. This position can be based in West Lafayette, Indiana or remotely, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer. **Key Responsibilities:** · Create immediate opportunities for Inari's technology by advocating for freedom to operate with downstream value chains, with an eye to collaborations and partnerships for seed production and grain and/or grain processing agreements. · Educate leaders in the value chain on the tremendous value of ground-breaking Inari technologies.· Collaborate with and support the corporate and commercial strategy teams to identify trends and opportunities in the commodity grain market. Execute business plans to secure the value of those opportunities. · Advance License to Operate (LTO) strategies by establishing relationships with key commodity stakeholders, such as grain processors and traders, working cross-functionally with government affairs, regulatory and corporate communications teams. · Design, prioritize and implement outreach strategies to remove obstacles and “grow the pie” of value for critical links along the supply chain.· Advance Inari’s brand and build a strong reputation at industry events across the U.S. Win over industry executives and grower leaders to unleash the massive upside of Inari’s technologies. **You Bring:** · 15+ years of experience in the agricultural grain value chain, business development and complex industry relationship management. · Minimum Bachelor of Science and/or Bachelor of Arts. · Demonstrated ability to persuade value chain partners to embrace new technology and business development opportunities.· Experience developing industry consensus and working in a matrixed organization. · Demonstrated powers of influence within an organization across internal functions and teams. · A drive to develop unique, high-impact solutions. · Creative and strategic thinking, willingness to take risks, and ability to learn from failure. · A collaborative, team-oriented mindset open to ideas and feedback to support a highly cross functional company environment. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively. · High operational effectiveness.· Effective communication with diverse individuals and audiences. · Ability to travel up to 50%, mostly domestic, with occasional international ari is an equal opportunity employer.
