For an exceptional candidate with prior investment experience this could potentially be a Vice President rather than Senior Associate position.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and present detailed investment theses, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and investment committeesConduct and summarize due diligence evaluating the scientific/technical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects of potential investmentsEvaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and scientific advancements to identify high-potential investment opportunitiesConduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to assess the viability of potential investments in therapeutics companiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including generative AI and data science team members, to integrate advanced analytics and AI solutions into investment decision‑making processesBuild relationships with industry experts, portfolio companies, and other stakeholders to gather insights and foster collaborationStay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to biotech and healthcare investmentsRequirementsPhD, MD, or other advanced degree in life sciences2-5 years’ relevant work experience in a role that involves financial modeling and investment analysis in the biotech or healthcare sectors (e.g., biotech or healthcare investment banking/equity research, healthcare strategy consulting, or business development at a life sciences company). Public investment or transaction experience is a plusDemonstrated skills in computational biology, AI, data science, or similar that can be applied to investment decision‑making.
