OverviewWe seek an exceptional Senior Software Engineer with 7 to 10+ years of experience to join our Engineering team and be a key contributor in all stages of product development and the growth of our business.ResponsibilitiesGrow a strong and skillful software development teamProvide technical leadership for current projectsDevelop and test software / firmware for various products and systemsTest and deploy software in the loop with various hardware systemsCoordinate with external vendors to implement the next generation technologiesSupport of various company engineering and other technical projects which may include travel to customer locations to support onsite work scopeDirect supervisor of other development team membersServe as technical lead and mentor to junior staffAssist business development and program management with cost and schedule estimatesSuggest, create, and implement department processes and improvementsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.Minimum 7+ years’ experience in development environmentMinimum 5+ years’ experience in developing and qualifying systems for Defense / Aerospace / Industrial applications5+ years’ experience with various programming languages including C, C++ and Microsoft .NET / C#, JavaScript, and / or Python3+ years’ leading and mentoring a software engineering teamDevelopment experience for Android and IOS is a plusAgile / Scrum development methodology experience is a mustExperience with Machine learning, Deep learning, CUDA, UI/UX, TensorFlow, Video processing and / or Computer vision is a nice to havePrior experience managing resources and executing project plansStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teamsAbility to comfortably work with external design teams and communicate with customersMust be authorized to work in the U.S. and hold an active or inactive minimum DoD level “Secret” clearance or the ability to obtain an interim and maintain full “Secret” level clearance.
