The Policy can be found HERE.THE ROLEThe anticipated Director of Enterprise Solutions (Information Technology Manager 4) role will have overall responsibility for the Enterprise Application and Digital Government portfolio of business. The selected individual is expected to drive multi-agency solution development using modern technologies that transform the relationships between Connecticut residents and their state government. Initial focus will be within the health and human service space to address emerging program changes. Our ideal candidate will be a leader who has experience successfully championing and delivering multi-stakeholder transformational change. This role will be instrumental in managing agency relationships, growing a culture of innovation and engagement, and leveraging our current and emerging resources toward the goal of strengthening the State of Connecticut as the IT employer of choice. This leader will also communicate concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff. NOTE: For state employees this experience is interpreted at the level of an Information Technology Manager 2.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWEDCollege training in computer science, management information systems or a closely related field may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor’s degree.
