J. Keller's Technology Solutions area, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Cloud and Training product lines, including growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. This position is responsible for the strategic planning and launch of new product offerings for the assigned product line and operates at a strategic level to benefit J. J. Keller as a whole.The Associate Director of Product Management will lead a product management team with 6 direct reports and 4 indirect reports, including a Sr. Product Manager, Product Leaders, Product Analysts, and UI/UX Designers. This role is hybrid and requires on-site work at the Neenah, WI Corporate Office 3 days/week with 2 days/week from home.ResponsibilitiesLeads, develops and coaches associates on the Product Management team: Provides clear expectations, feedback and recognitionParticipates in the hiring/selection processWrites and conducts performance evaluations and progress reportsHandles associate relations issuesDelivers results in line with key metrics/accountabilities: Strategic planning for service roadmapOn time and quality delivery of new service offeringsRevenue and gross margin objectivesAssociate retentionBudget controlClient satisfaction and retentionCollaborates with internal stakeholders on the product roadmap for Technology Solutions Cloud and Training linesPerforms customer/market needs analysis and manages the existing lines by delivering enhancements that address those needsDevelops and manages processes that transform business requirements into detailed product/service requirements, and leads cross-functional teams in product/service definition and designPartners with the Software Development team throughout the development process to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of features and functions that meet client/market expectationsEnsures future service line releases reflect learnings from market activities, customer discussions, usage analysis, competition, and market researchOversees the successful implementation and delivery of servicesPartners with Editorial and other groups to leverage safety, compliance, and risk management expertise to serve customers and market needsMonitors and communicates issues related to emerging technologies and market trendsRepresents J. J. Keller at industry and market events to promote assigned servicesEstablishes and manages the Customer Loyalty Index for assigned services and creates plans based on survey resultsDevelops pricing strategies to maximize market share and maintain profitabilityOutlines product business cases and investment justificationCreates key product benefits and value propositions, including target customers and problems to solve, product positioning, and competitive environmentDefines product launch strategy and sets go-to-market plans; works with business, operations, marketing, sales etc. on executionDevelops and conducts sales readiness training to prepare channels to support new product introductions and meet launch objectives; measures launch effectivenessCreates pathways for ongoing customer feedback and engagement for roadmaps, features, and quality/usabilitySupports strategic planning, market planning and execution; provides perspective on key market and customer trends for annual planningMaintains fair, ethical, and non-discriminatory practices among staffManages expenses in line with departmental budgets and corporate conditionsEnforces and supports all company policies and safety/environment commitmentsQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a Technology fieldExperience: 10+ years in product management or project management in related technology/industry; 5+ years in a leadership role; 2+ years working with UI design resources and writing/reviewing product requirements; experience collaborating with sales, marketing, client service and operations on launchesOther Skills/Qualifications: Ability to develop and implement growth plans, strong verbal/written communication, strong organizational/time management, thorough understanding of product management processes, ability to lead and influence, cross-functional collaboration, knowledge of complex sales processes for tech products, ability to tailor products to sales channels, knowledge of marketing processes for complex solutionsPhysical RequirementsWork is performed in a standard office environment with extended computer use.
