OverviewRemote/HybridJoin our dynamic Tax team, where strategic thinking meets operational excellence. As a Senior Manager, Tax, you'll lead a high-performing group responsible for delivering accurate and timely tax provision reporting in accordance with ASC 740. Our team drives the quarterly and annual tax accounting close process, ensuring compliance across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions-including foreign GAAP filings.We tackle complex tax projects such as R&D tax credit optimization, Section 174 and 382 analyses, and cash tax forecasting. You/'ll manage income tax audits, respond to regulatory notices, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement transfer pricing and tax planning strategies that support business growth.Our team thrives on precision, integrity, and continuous improvement. If you/'re ready to lead with impact and elevate tax operations, we/'d love to meet you.Job Description and RequirementsRole ResponsibilitiesLead the completion of quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740Drive tax accounting close process and timely data gathering and reportingOversee federal, state, local, and international tax filings including foreign GAAP returnsComplete tax projects such as R&D tax credit, Sec. 174, Sec. 382 analysesPrepare forecasted income taxes and cash tax payment analysisManage income tax audits and respond to notices from tax authoritiesAssist with implementation of transfer pricing, tax planning and optimization strategiesCollaborate with teams across the business to improve systems and processesChampion Tax across the business and with leadershipPreferred QualificationsBachelor/'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA-licensed and/or MST in Tax6+ years of related experience in public accounting or in the internal tax department of a US multi-state corporationStrong technical knowledge of ASC 740, SEC disclosure standards, and US GAAPStrong knowledge of US and International sales and use tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirementsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply rules to practical scenariosEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholdersHigh ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrityExperience with Taxation of SaaSWorkday experience (or other large ERP system experience) and AvalaraRelativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.The expected salary range for this role is between following values:$139,000 and $209,000The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate/'s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
