What You'll DoDefine and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new markets, solutions, and use cases as part of cross-functional growth and incubation teamsPresent to executive leaders, providing regular insights and strategic recommendations that support platform and revenue growthMeasure and refine GTM performance, using data to improve messaging, content, and launch effectivenessCreate and execute GTM strategies for Workiva's industry-specific platforms tailored to the unique needs of sectors like financial services, financial reporting, and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growthPartner with Product Management, Sales, and Sales Operations to develop and implement product positioning and messaging that drives successful rollouts of sales enablement and support tools that empower the sales teamLead the formulation of growth strategies with an emphasis on evaluating build, buy, and partner options to meet organizational goals and champion new business opportunitiesEvaluate potential partners and acquisitions, assessing both business and technology fit to secure opportunities that enhance Workiva's capabilitiesEstablish criteria for marketplace expansion including financial modeling, total addressable market (TAM), serviceable available market (SAM), and serviceable obtainable market (SOM)Partner with the Growth Solutions team to define and pitch new opportunities in alignment with Workiva's idea-to-incubation (i2i) processShape growth strategy by synthesizing market and industry trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to influence executive decision-making while driving the business toward product-market fitDrive thought leadership through blogs, webinars, white papers, and speaking engagements that elevate Workiva's credibility and visibility in the marketConsult with customers, alongside Product Management and Sales, to explore product and market opportunities within key industries, ensuring solutions reflect real-world challengesOwn and influence pricing and packaging strategies for industry solutions, aligning offers to customer value, market demand, and growth goalsWhat You'll NeedMinimum QualificationsUndergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field10+ years experience in product marketing, or closely related fields, with an emphasis growth solutionsExperience in business-to-business (B2B) tech marketing, with a preference for Software as a Service (SaaS)Preferred QualificationsDeep understanding of the finance and accounting industry, familiarity with the systems and tools that power modern finance functionsStrong grasp of emerging trends like AI and data technologies reshaping the industryProficiency in defining, launching, and governing scalable solutions to support growth marketing strategyEffective communication skills across all organizational levels, spanning from buyers and end-users to executive managementAbility to navigate ambiguity with a natural curiosity to uncover opportunities in new markets by leveraging new technology trendsDemonstrated success in collaborating and influencing cross-functional leadership teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Enablement, and Customer SuccessStrategic mindset with the ability to derive insights from data for decision-makingProven ability to innovate and optimize business-driving strategiesExceptional communication and program management skillsTravel Requirements & Working ConditionsMinimum of 25% travelReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva officeHow You'll Be RewardedSalary range in the US: $154,000.00 - $250,000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
