Their product portfolio includes recycled and biodegradable polythene film materials.ResponsibilitiesCore Role Responsibilities :Company Growth Leader and Key Account Team Manager: coach, inspire and develop the team through close management and leadership.Enhancing Key Contact Relationships: be the primary point of contact across a portfolio of key prospects and customers, responsible for nurturing, protecting and deepening relationships with major packaging merchants, end-users, key opportunities, and unique contracts (e.g., Royal Warrant).Lead the team to deliver a step-change in performance and act as a valued team leader.Develop processes, expertise and systems; contribute to a culture of teamwork and collaboration with a willingness to try new approaches.Support growth across UK and European manufacturing, distribution and direct supply operations, and expand sales across all channels to new and existing customers.The role requires a history of practical sales skills and knowledge of techniques to develop customer relationships and grow turnover and margin. While packaging experience can be advantageous, the right skills and personal qualities are prioritized.The company plans to continue expanding through sustainability initiatives (recycled and biodegradable materials) and diversification into paper and corrugated packaging, supported by enhanced storage and improved procurement and supply chain capabilities.The Business Development Manager will be a core member of the senior management team, contributing to strategy, planning and regular feedback. The ethos is collaborative problem solving, with an emphasis on teamwork and staff loyalty.Team and structureThe Sales Team blends experienced professionals with recently onboarded staff in a dynamic environment. The structure includes departmental managers and team supervisors; production operates 24 hours, five days a week, with other teams on standard hours. The senior team comprises eight managers.
