OverviewWe are looking for a West Regional Sales Manager to sell construction hoists, manlifts, transport platforms and possibly self-erect tower cranes at some point. This person’s territory is mainly CA, NV, AZ, CO. We would like someone in the Anaheim/Southern California area. The bulk of the business is in CA at this time with CO being next busy. NV and AZ are breaking through. They would travel to those 4 states and occasionally to Houston for training and meetings. This person will have direct access to the VP of Sales and be able to have direct interaction with the President. There are semi annual meetings where they would be presenting to the owner and major stakeholders of the company.Also, in AZ, most of the work is in the Phoenix area and in CO, most of the work is CO Springs and Denver, most of the work for NV is Vegas of course. So those are the cities we would like for people to be close to. Job SummaryThis position is responsible for developing relationships with customers and growing accounts in their assigned territory through the promotion and selling of the company’s products. ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safety, reliability and dependability in compliance with company policies as well as OSHA regulations.Leverage effective phone selling skills to prospect utilizing lead database services and industry publications.Direct interaction and first point of contact with customers.Develop and follow leads to sell company itiates order process through systems in a times fashion. Follows up on as many orders as possible to determine customer satisfaction. Keeps track of follow up calls in the system and shares with team.Work with customers to determine equipment and service needs.Prepare contracts and record and close sales orders.
