Food and Beverage Director

We are now interviewing for the position of Director of Food and Beverage at a luxury resort.Responsible for short and long-term planning and the management of the Food and Beverage operations in the front and back of the house with a management teamDevelop and recommend budgets, marketing plans, and objectives,, and manage within the approved plans.Participate in the Hotel Leadership CommitteeDirect and oversee the development of colleaguesDirect the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budget for F&B operations.Exercise quality control for both food and beverageKey liaison with Chef partner and third-party restaurant vendorsMust possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom lineQualificationsMinimum of 5 years in a senior-level F&B management role, with at least 3 years as a Director requiredExperience at a hotel managing multiple food and beverage outlets, including banquets, is requiredUpscale restaurant management experience is preferredUnion experience is a plusExperience with building teams from hourly positions through all levels of leadership positionsStrong financial acumenService-oriented style with professional presentation skillsMust possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concepts, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom lineDemonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds Benefits:Generous salary of $140,000-$150,000Target bonus Paid relocationHealth insurance menu of optionsPTO, sick time, and travel benefitsCareer growth opportunities
