Overview: Xerox Corporation is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to support the Birmingham, AL. As a Delivery Driver / Installation Specialist you will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set-up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. Benefits We Offer: * Competitive compensation (hourly compensation and applicable overtime) * Comprehensive benefits offerings (including medical, dental, vision, life insurance) * Retirement Plan - 401k * Paid holidays, personal choice days, and paid time off * A culture that offers flexibility and a healthy work life balance What You Will Do: * Operate a box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle * Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record * Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations * Provide excellent customer service * Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment * Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines * Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed What You Need to Succeed: * Valid Driver's License * One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16' - 26' box delivery truck preferred but not required - we provide the training! * Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs., push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines. * Basic mechanical understanding preferred * Ability to use smartphones and tablets, GPS for navigation, Google Maps when necessary. * Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet * Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills How We Set You Up for Success: * Hands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of the delivery driver role and responsibilities * Job shadowing to thoroughly prepare you to make deliveries and perform installations independently * Ongoing career development training * May be required to complete an annual DOT physical and drug screen if operating a vehicle weighing over 10,000 lbs.
