TheEvent Project Coordinatorwill ensure a world-class experience for clients throughout a project’s life-cycle. This position will monitor and manage every phase of a graphics job through effective communication and coordination with other functional areas of the Company (client, design, production, shipping, install, etc.) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (included, but are not limited to) Manage local account projects and seasonal events such as the Detroit Grand Prix, branded graphics packages, building wraps and other special projects. These projects require meeting with clients and driving to various local locations (e.g., Downtown Detroit, client locations, etc). During the Grand Prix the job location will be in office and downtown Detroit for four weeks or more and does requires OT and weekend work for special events. Plan, organize, and coordinate various graphics projects simultaneously demonstrating leadership, teamwork, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, innovation and excellence. Be flexible and conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines using analytical and problem-solving to anticipate obstacles and develop solutions. Clearly define, lead and communicate project objectives to the graphics team. Deliver creative solutions to clients aligning to brand/program standards. Prepare estimates, detailed project plans and schedules tracking budget and costs. Oversee quality control and participate in quality issue resolutions for continuous improvement. Communicate with team members to assess upcoming, current and active projects. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to stay organized managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proven account management experience with the ability to manage projects from conception to completion - prioritizing, multi-tasking, meeting expectations, budget and timelines. Strong experience presenting to all levels of management both written and verbally Provide an exceptional client experience on a day-to-day basis developing and maintaining long-term relationships. Assist the Senior Program Manager with any other duties or projects as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of demonstrated success managing projects/programs from a cost, quality and client services perspective Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, business, marketing, hospitality Be able to connect and engage with a variety of personalities working well in teams Ability to read a tape measure Microsoft Office SuitePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in graphics and/or a creative environment Event and/or marketing experience
