Our certified Texas Peace Officers serve the students, staff, and community across 55 campuses and 14 special facilities within the 110-square-mile District. Our approach to school policing is guided by four key *****Pillar 1: Safety and Security Our officers maintain a safe learning environment by deterring crime, responding quickly to threats, and being active role models in the school community. On-site officers, familiar with juvenile law, help ensure better outcomes for students.Pillar 2: Behavioral Health We support student well-being with a dedicated team of social workers and a therapy dog. This collaborative approach allows us to address mental health issues effectively, offering specialized support alongside traditional policing.Pillar 3: Equity We focus on meeting the individual needs of each student, offering targeted support and training for our officers to ensure fair and equitable treatment.
