The AVI-SPL Senior Field Service Technician will work in partnership with the Global Helpdesk to provide Service support for customers at customer sites with the end goals of restoring functionality to our customers’ assets while delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client baseClean various AV equipment including but not limited ***** camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans, as a part of Preventative MaintenanceEnsure equipment delivery and associated responsibilities for assigned assignmentsField installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware) – upload and download capabilityField service support of control programs (AMX / Crestron/etc.) – minor edits (could be with the aid of a programmer), compile, upload and download capabilityIntermediate Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.)Perform service tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited *****pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects and hanging ceiling mountsAssist next level service technicians as neededProvide client training as neededSetup and troubleshoot various video codecs and UCC devicesTravel to various job sites requiredPerform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectivesWork hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleaguesBasic computer knowledgeKnowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and controlAbility to manage small to medium projectsAbility to solder & crimp connectorsMinor programming capability (AMX/Creston) – changes and troubleshootingMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferredFormal education in Electronics or related field preferredAMX Networking and Programming EssentialsCrestron Professional installation, programming and configurationMedical benefits, including vision and dentalPaid holidays and Paid Time OffTraining and professional development opportunitiesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, disability status, or membership in any other group protected by federal, state, or local law.
