Position Overview: Join our team as a Material Review Board Planner, in the Order Management department, where you'll play a key role in managing the return and repair of critical materials to ensure smooth production flow. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments and suppliers to solve complex supply challenges. What your day may look like: Coordinate with suppliers to obtain Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and ensure timely part returns for repair. Generate and manage return purchase orders to support efficient repair cycles. Monitor material availability and proactively communicate delays that may impact operations. Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and quality teams to resolve complex supply issues. Partner with internal stakeholders to support uninterrupted production through timely part repairs. Track open orders and follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery dates. Manage inbound logistics, request expedited shipping when needed, and monitor critical supply tracking. Escalate delivery risks within supplier organizations and identify opportunities to improve performance. Analyze supply chain metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes. What will make you thrive in this role: 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with SAP systems. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in an engineer-to-order manufacturing setting is a plus. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive improvements. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Effective communicator who thrives in cross-functional team environments. What would make you stand out: Advanced education (Master’s degree) and proficiency in analytical tools and business systems. Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, and supplier capacity planning in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and drive results under tight deadlines. Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationships. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
