Position Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) with permitting experience to join our plumbing team. The CSR will serve as the first point of contact for customers, provide exceptional service, and manage the permitting process for plumbing projects. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with customers, technicians, municipalities, and internal staff.Key Responsibilities:· Answer incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries in a professional and timely manner.· Schedule plumbing service appointments, dispatch technicians, and manage the service calendar.· Assist customers with service inquiries, estimates, and follow-up communications.· Prepare and submit permit applications for plumbing jobs, ensuring compliance with city/county regulations.· Track permit statuses and follow up with municipalities to secure timely approvals.· Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and related documentation.· Coordinate inspections with city/county officials and ensure jobs are compliant with codes.· Communicate proactively with customers regarding job timelines, permitting requirements, and inspection updates.· Process payments, generate invoices, and support accounts receivable when needed.· Provide administrative support to the office team, including data entry and report preparation. Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent · 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in plumbing, construction, or a trade service industry.· Hands-on experience with permitting processes (municipal or county-level).· Strong knowledge of local permitting requirements, codes, and inspection procedures.· Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and service management software (ServiceTitan experience a plus).· Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.· Strong problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail.Key Competencies:· Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor.· Ability to build strong working relationships with municipalities and inspectors.· Proactive, dependable, and results-oriented.· Team player who can also work independently.Compensation & Benefits:· Competitive hourly wage (based on experience).· Health, dental, and vision insurance.· Paid time off and holidays.PI793d00d5c5ab-35196-38677098
