As the AI Creative Solution Director you are accountable for direction, motivation, and financial impact of a newly formed team that focuses on content and innovation (AI development). You oversee the delivery of pitches and execution of ideas within or across platforms by providing expert knowledge of the AI production process, techniques, and technology necessary to execute the content work. You are responsible for attracting, developing and deploying internal production talent to ensure the best content and production value possible for the idea and the client. You are accountable for the overall quality of work, ensuring goals are met and projects are delivered on time and on budget and delivering within the margin targets. You have 10-15+ years of experience in an agency capacity and are a creative problem solver with production expertise that guides complex development across AI / Innovation funnels. You possess strong leadership to help build the Innovation Center of Excellence with a focus on comms management, R&D, education, sales and execution. You are a great communicator, motivator, and project manager with an innate ability to not only plan but also execute. You will take a proactive role in business development, preparing and presenting both written and oral materials. You advise project teams and clients on best practices, process, scope, schedules, and pricing, while building strong, resilient relationships. You develop, build and/or evolve operational processes and workflow documentation for successful R&D to be implemented into the LIVE pipeline. You will manage quarterly goals set by the global Head of Content & Innovation and manage micro squads (R&D teams) to deliver product innovation on quarterly timelines, tracking and adjusting goals based on AI landscape changes. You will work closely with the operations & casting teams and Production Leads regionally to manage workloads and forecast resources. Responsibilities Sales: Drive sales and creative development processes with an AI-enabled, production-led mindset. Ensure pitches reflect the global vision and strategy and represent the studio to other disciplines. Vision: Ensure innovation is central to our process and client solutions, with detailed production approaches aligned to the vision. Innovation: Deploy AI processes in collaboration with EPs and SME teams to move at market pace. COE: Start the Innovation Center of Excellence, building elements of the process collaboratively with operations and SME enablement. Operations: Build, implement and enhance the AI production process for the studio. BenchMarking: Track cost savings and implement savings structures across productions. Client Service: Provide AI service enablement to Monks teams for ongoing growth. Partnership: Collaborate with Regional business leads to deliver end-to-end client experiences and protect production funnels. Cross-functional Collaboration: Identify opportunities with growth, account and social Monks teams. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks; develop contingency plans for smooth project execution. Comms: Manage yearly AI communications plan for studio.monk with related messaging. R&D: Develop and manage regional squad teams to deliver AI products, form teams, enable them and ensure delivery commitments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Project/Pipeline management; deploy new processes; support sales and production strategies to meet quarterly targets; define and document best practices; implement global, AI-pitch intake processes; cross-train globally and regionally. Ensure new business efforts are properly staffed and responses meet high standards. Guide and implement AI processes and AI products, as well as AI communications and squads. About You The essentials: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years’ experience in print/photo, motion, social and digital and post production/content production, with roles in an advertising agency or high-tech environment. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Strong PM skill set. Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn AI tool stacks and develop new craft processes. Knowledge & Skills: Mastery in at least two disciplines: Motion, Interactive, emerging media, art buying/print production; programming or related tech understanding. Fluency in complex contracting including talent (union and non-union), music licensing/publishing and 3rd party works for hire. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (AI, IDD, PS). Willingness to learn AI tool stacks and develop new craft processes.
