Overview Senior Software Engineering Manager – Martech Platforms (Western Union, LLC, Denver, CO) Spearhead the design and architecture of new IT projects, ensuring seamless integration across marketing technology platforms and alignment with business goals and technical requirements. Deliver the Enterprise Integration Architecture, including Cloud and on-premises solutions, while overseeing platform selection, DevOps, CI/CD processes, and monitoring tools. Leverage knowledge of modern technologies and integration methodologies to drive innovation and optimization in project execution. Direct the design and implementation of integration architecture for platforms like Braze and SFMC, collaborating with internal integration teams to ensure successful deployment and alignment with IT strategies. Responsibilities Develop cloud-based data solutions utilizing infrastructure technologies such as Spark Streaming, Kafka, AWS, Docker, Snowflake, and monitoring tools like ELK/Splunk, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Assist integration platform and development teams, guiding them in the management, design, and execution of integration solutions. Facilitate integration design, performance optimization, and code reviews to maintain high quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to drive targeted campaigns and personalized customer experiences through integrated technology solutions. Drive the creation and execution of complex customer journeys, decision flows, and marketing campaigns within Braze and SFMC, including user access management and adherence to security and data privacy protocols. Define project scopes, objectives, and timelines; oversee day-to-day project management, including resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of IT integration and technology solutions; establish performance metrics and monitor system performance for continuous improvements. Support telecommuting up to 2 days per week; when not telecommuting, report to 7001 E Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field; plus 5 years of professional experience in software development, solution architecture, or related roles. 4 years of experience consolidating integration platforms and designing new projects. 3 years of experience analyzing customer journeys and decision flows. 2 years of experience with agile development methodologies, Test Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD. 2 years of experience consuming RESTful and SOAP web services; 2 years of experience with unit testing, XML, JSON, and JavaScript. 2 years of experience in Braze and Salesforce platform engineering. 2 years of experience contributing to business technology direction to drive measurable business improvements. Salary and Benefits Salary: $224,058 – $352,416 per year. The on-target earnings range includes base salary and incentives. Actual salaries vary based on qualifications, skills, and competencies.
