The role emphasizes Java and Object Oriented development (not web development).Basic QualificationsSoftware Engineer level: 2 years with a Bachelor in STEM or Master’s degree.Principal Software Engineer level: 5 years with a Bachelor in STEM; 3 years with a Master; 1 year with a PhD.Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain Secret Clearance.Experience developing software using Java and C++.Experience developing software on Linux.Experience managing source code with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.Understanding of all software development phases and practical experience in an Agile/DevOps environment.Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications per DoDI 1322.29.Desired QualificationsExperience with Python, JavaFX, JavaScript, Bash, Perl, XML.Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Jupyter Notebook, OSGi, Google Guice.Experience with Unit testing, JUnit, Automated Testing, Squish, Jenkins, DevOps.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jira/Confluence.Experience with MIL-STD 6016 (L16), Modeling and Simulation, MBSE, Blue Force Tracker (BFT), IBS, ADS-B.Experience with C2BMC or THAAD or related sensor/weapon systems.Security+ pensation and BenefitsPrimary Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00; Secondary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00.
