We are a growing, collaborative team dedicated to thoughtful, impactful design.We are seeking a Financial Manager to join our studio and share in our vision.The Financial Manager will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the organization and ensuring its continued success and growth. This position is 20-25 hours per week with a flexible schedule, and remote work is possible. Competitive pay pending experience.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and AnalysisOversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and project financial performance reports.Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making, such as optimizing profitability and resource allocation.Prepare and analyze project budgets and project profitability reportsBudgeting and ForecastingDevelop and manage the firm/'s overall budget, including forecasting expenditures and projecting income streams.Create financial models and forecasts to guide long-term strategic planning and decision-making for the firm/'s future growth and stability.Set up Budgets in our firm/'s office and project management Software - BQE CORECash Flow ManagementWork with the firm’s bookkeeper to monitor cash flow and manage bank accounts.Develop and implement strategies for timely billing, accounts receivable collection, and accounts payable pliance and Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (like GAAP), and tax laws.Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, such as cost overruns and schedule delaysProject-Specific Financial ManagementCollaborate with project managers to establish and monitor project budgets, track costs (including labor hours and expenses), and ensure compliance with contract terms.Support accurate client billing processes and assist the Principal and bookkeeper in creating invoices.Provide project managers with regular financial updates and reports, including budget vs. actual summaries and burn rates.Collaborating effectively with project managers to provide financial insights and support their goals.QualificationsSoftware & ToolsWe use BQE CORE for our Firm Management and Project Management SoftwareWe use the Microsoft Office Products. (Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc.)ExperienceProven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar financial roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with integrityGood communication skills and ability to work independentlyAssociate degree in Accounting, Business or related field experience preferredThe ability to meet once a week (in person or virtually) to provide updates #J-18808-Ljbffr
