Indirect Tax—FTZ Advisory Global Trade—SeniorAs a Senior in EY’s Global Trade practice, you will use your experience and technical knowledge to advise on implementation, compliance and operations of a Foreign Trade Zone. You will work with clients to maximize the value of the Foreign Trade Zone program and guide clients through the processes and regulatory requirements of implementing and compliantly operating Foreign Trade Zones.Your Key ResponsibilitiesResearching customs and international trade issuesAdvising clients on customs compliance issues and potential duty savings strategiesStaying current on global trade developments and developing new and innovative service offerings that deliver value to clientsProject management with strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality workSkills And Attributes For SuccessA bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, international relations or related fieldExperience in a client service environment with a background in foreign trade zone, global trade and import operationsExcellent organizational skills, motivation and a positive attitudeProficiency in a technology-enabled environmentWillingness to travel as needed and to work in a balanced hybrid environmentIdeally, You’ll Also HaveU.S. Customs broker license, CCS, CES, CZS or AZSExperience in professional services with the ability to listen to a client’s needs and develop a value proposition to expand new businessWhat We Look ForWe’re looking for people who will add value to client projects and appropriately delegate tasks to a qualified support team.
