This role is a Lead Director – HCB FP&A who will report to the Executive Director of HCB FP&A and lead a small team. The position is highly visible and provides executives with information to support critical business decisions. ResponsibilitiesProactively evaluates company performance by leveraging both Financial Statement and Date of Service analyses to inform strategic decisions that drive operating income growth.Conducts focused analytical research, complex financial modeling and business decision support related to long-term, sustainable operating earnings growth actions and strategy.Collaborates with the Enterprise to implement changes and enhancements to financial systems.Provides strategic direction, coaching, development and feedback while leading a small team including rotational development program members.Maintains technical knowledge of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, Anaplan, ADAM, etc.).Assists in developing ad-hoc analyses and actionable recommendations for executive leadership.Leverages strong communication and presentation skills.Drives continuous process improvement and the use of technology.Maintains strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Designs and executes process improvements.Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in healthcare, managed care insurance, financial forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, actuarial work, and management of teams.Excellent communication skills with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.Proven experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Preferred QualificationsDeep understanding of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, AMRS, etc.).Advanced degree in Finance or Business; CPA preferred and/or FSA desired.Supervisory or managerial experience.EducationBachelor Degree; Masters preferred or equivalent work experience.Pay and BenefitsThe typical pay range for this role is $100,000.00 - $231,540.00. This range represents base pay for positions in this job grade. Actual base salary offers depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program, and includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including affordable medical plan options, a 401(k) plan (with company matching contributions) and an employee stock purchase plan.
