OverviewAt Simply Good Foods, we’re looking for a Sr. Brand Manager to champion our flagship brand Atkins – and play a pivotal role in shaping its future. This role will lead our Ready-to-Drink (RTD) portfolio, an area that represents more than half of our total sales, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our business and our consumers.You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-moving marketing team that thrives on curiosity, creativity and bold thinking. With frequent exposure to senior leadership, we’re seeking a brand builder with a general manager mindset. Success in this role means embracing innovation, navigating ambiguity with confidence, and inspiring others through a driven and positive approach. The position is based in Denver, Colorado, and reports directly to the VP, Marketing for Atkins.Key ResponsibilitiesLead brand strategy and long-term growth planning for the Atkins RTD portfolio, leveraging consumer insights, category dynamics, and competitive analysis to guide priorities and investments.Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, build business cases, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver go-to-market plans that drive incremental sales and brand penetration.Oversee portfolio performance through business analysis, monthly reporting, and proactive management of risks and opportunities to achieve financial objectives.Drive product innovation and commercialization, leading cross-functional efforts through the Stage Gate process-from concept and feasibility to packaging, sales enablement and launch execution.Translate brand and business objectives into integrated marketing plans, aligning with sales, customers and external partners to deliver impactful consumer and retail activation.Manage product P&Ls and marketing budgets, ensuring disciplined resource allocation and strong ROI.Apply consumer and market research to refine brand positioning, sharpen target audiences, and optimize creative, media, and channel strategies.Improve marketing processes by identifying opportunities to streamline go-to-market execution and sharing best practices across the organization.Contribute RTD insights and recommendations to cross-portfolio strategy discussions, influencing broader brand and business priorities.Coach and mentor junior team members to build brand marketing capabilities and support career development.Knowledge / AbilitiesStrong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.Demonstrated success synthesizing consumer and category insights (IRI preferred) into strategies that influence portfolio priorities and investment decisions.Financial acumen, including comfort with P&L ownership and ROI analysis to ensure disciplined decision-making and resource allocation.Confidence in presenting and synthesizing complex information into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to collaborate effectively across functions and at multiple organizational levels without direct authority.Ability to navigate ambiguity and generate innovative solutions that drive growth and address evolving consumer and category dynamicsAbility to mentor and guide peers or junior team members to build marketing capabilities and contribute to a high-performing team culture.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 8 years of professional-level experience in brand management and/or consumer marketing for CPG; Focus in the food category, preferred.Proven experience leading multiple product innovation projects simultaneously, from concept through commercialization and market launch ensuring on-time delivery and business impact.Experience driving cross-functional teams to execute multiple product introductions, balancing short-term priorities with long-term brand growth.Demonstrated experience managing P&L, including budget oversight and ROI analysis.Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans in collaboration with agency partners.Experience leading collaboration with sales, finance and supply chain to align strategies and deliver business objectives.Demonstrated success leveraging consumer insights and category analysis to shape brand strategy, prioritize growth opportunities and guide investment decisions, delivering measurable results.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment and may be stressful at times. It is eligible for a 20% annual short-term incentive.
