In this fast-moving business, the core responsibility is to ensure that new and high-potential startups choose AWS as their cloud platform to transform and accelerate their business. We work backwards from the customer and partner with technical team members, business development, and stakeholders to lead scaled Go-to-Market strategies, accelerate adoption and drive customer success.The ideal candidate has a passion to work with innovators and new technologies, has a strong sales background, and has the technical aptitude to learn and discuss the latest technologies, such as generative AI, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data services, and sustainable computing. This is a fast-paced role. We work at the speed of startup founders, are able to engage personas from developers to technical founders and CXOs. You will work alongside Solution Architects, Product Specialists, Inside Sales, Demand Generation Representatives, Business Development, and technology and services partners. You will be a self-starter, travel for in-person meetings, and attend events. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package.This position will remain posted until filled.Basic Qualifications7 years of sales experience6 years of technology related sales or business development experience in SAAS, Cloud, Software, or TechnologyExtensive customers or pre-sale experience in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-selling / technology-related environmentStrong analytical and project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable delivering results amid ambiguity and changeExtensive skills in leveraging tools and technology to increase efficiency in day-to-day activitiesDemonstrated ability to own projects and events from design to executionPreferred QualificationsBachelors Degree or equivalentPrevious cloud expertise at a technology companyProfound insights into the startup ecosystem, the main stakeholders, and trendsPassion for startups and entrepreneurial mentality and passion for helping startups growHistory of working for or selling to tech startupsStartup Founder/ Startup operating experience in business development, Venture Capital, or in leadership rolesCompany - Amazon Web Services, Inc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
