OverviewDirector of Sales – Watermark Napa ValleyLocation: Napa, CaliforniaCompensation: Base Salary of $75k + Commission/Bonus (Total Compensation of $120k+) with uncapped commissions.Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.Discovery Management Group is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead sales operations at Watermark Napa Valley. This high-impact role is responsible for achieving occupancy and revenue targets by building relationships with prospective residents and their families, driving outreach efforts, and leveraging data and CRM tools to maximize conversions.We are seeking a proven Director of Sales to lead occupancy growth and sales strategy within our senior living community. This role is central to driving lead generation, conversion, and pipeline management, while building meaningful connections with prospects, families, and referral partners.Our community offers a strong foundation for success, including a tenured sales team, a supportive and high-standards culture, and the momentum of a recent rebranding campaign that has boosted awareness and engagement. With advanced tools such as Aline CRM, Power BI, Outlook, and OneDay, this is a data-driven, technology-forward environment where sales leaders can thrive.This is an on-site, weekend-forward role (Sunday–Thursday), designed for an experienced senior living sales professional who is both strategic and hands-on, with a proven track record of driving occupancy and collaborating effectively with Executive Directors and capital partners.ResponsibilitiesExecute all facets of the Sales Playbook (discovery, tours, objections, closing).Achieve move-in and revenue goals by advancing leads through the sales process.Develop and maintain professional referral networks and conduct external business development.Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team on marketing, competitive analysis, and sales strategy.Ensure move-in processes run smoothly in collaboration with clinical and operational partners.Represent the community with professionalism, compassion, and confidence.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or related industry required.Strong record of achieving sales targets and conversion goals.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with CRM systems to manage leads and pipeline.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.Willingness to work onsite, conduct tours, and attend networking events which includes local travel.About DiscoveryAbout Discovery Management GroupDiscovery Management Group is part of the Discovery Senior Living family of companies, a recognized industry leader for performance, innovation and lifestyle customization that ranks among the largest U.S. senior living operators.
