Director of Engineering

Overview Director of Engineering leading our Dallas–Fort Worth operations. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer, ideally with a consultancy background, to transition into the contracting side and drive the success of high-profile design-build projects. What You’ll Do Provide technical leadership and direction across mechanical and multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Act as a trusted partner to clients, developers, and architects, guiding them from preconstruction through delivery. Oversee engineering execution on design-build and design-assist projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and constructability. Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers and project managers, instilling best practices and accountability. Translate client needs into practical, cost-effective engineering solutions that align with project goals. Partner with operations and construction teams to ensure seamless integration between design and delivery. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 15+ years of progressive MEP experience, ideally gained in consultancy/design environments. Strong background in client-facing roles, with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships. Proven leadership experience managing teams, budgets, and project performance. A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to help build and grow a regional operation.
