Job Title: Change Management and Communications ConsultantLocation: Chicago Illinois 606073 day hybrid - in office Mon, Tues, Wed. 8am to 4pm4 month contract - filling in for maternity leaveUp to $55/hour for the contractRole OverviewWe’re seeking a highly organized, people-first professional to drive global organizational transitions. This role is hands-on, coordinating hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and organizational changes across India, Mexico, Europe, and the U.S. You will work closely with senior leaders and HR teams to ensure smooth talent transitions, clear communication, and alignment with global HR processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day execution of organizational changes, including auditing hiring governance and managing transitions.Track and coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and role assignments with recruiting and HR teams globally.Work with leaders, HRBPs, and the org design team to align structures, assign roles, and monitor progress.Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and reports to support decision-making.Identify risks, raise issues proactively, and remove roadblocks to ensure seamless transitions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Total Rewards, Value Realization, and regional HR teams to ensure all hiring and onboarding steps are complete.Maintain and leverage tools like SuccessFactors and Excel to manage critical workforce data accurately.Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in organizational development/design, leadership or related field strongly preferred. Experience in transition coordination, organizational design, and global HR operations.Strong project management and administrative skills; able to manage multiple tasks across time zones.Change management expertise to anticipate training and process dependencies.People-first mindset with empathy for employees impacted by transitions.Detail-oriented, agile, and able to handle complex, ambiguous situations.High discretion and political awareness; comfortable interacting with senior leaders.Proficiency in SuccessFactors and Microsoft Office; analytical and data-savvy.HRBP or similar experience is highly desirable.Day-to-Day SnapshotEarly mornings with India counterparts, daytime collaboration with U.S. leaders, and evenings with Europe teams.Frequent check-ins with org design and HR teams to adjust plans, assign roles, and track hiring progress.Daily oversight of hiring governance, onboarding timing, and role transitions across multiple regions.Why This Role MattersYou will be the linchpin in global talent transitions, ensuring leaders can execute organizational strategies while employees experience smooth, well-managed changes.
