Greets patients, escorts them to the exam room, and performs vitals and other related MA duties. Demonstrates knowledge of medical practice and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty. Adheres to policies and procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. QualificationsJob Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent.Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Must hold current or obtain within three (3) months of hire.Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledgeBLS CertificationPreferred Job Requirements:  Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution.  Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
