Regional Business Office Manager

Are you an experienced in accounts receivable roles in the healthcare setting? As the Regional Business Office manager with Laurel Health Care Company, you will consult with Business Office Manager (BOM) at the facility level to provide optimal outcomes for each facility.Responsibilities include:Supervising the Business Office Managers (BOM) at the facility level.Review the daily collections of cash receipts and deposits to appropriate sure that facility level Business office managers establish and maintain communication with patients, family members responsible for payment for patient care services.Generate timely billing of all payer classes for claims generated by facility.Review the Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid UB.Record deposits and withdrawals in Resident Trust.Close Resident Trust accounts timely and complete bank reconciliation monthly.Process Medicaid applicationsEducation and/or Experience:Associates Degree in AccountingKnowledge of billing for nursing homesExtensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance billingExperience at a multi-facility nursing home level preferred.Excellent communication skillsWillingness to travel frequently with some overnight stays.Minimum 3 years experience in A/R capacity in the long term care setting is preferred.We are a national organization of skilled nursing, subacute, rehabilitative, and assisted living providers dedicated to achieving the highest standards of care in five states including Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, and D123
