Junior Power System Engineer

In this role, you would be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining electrical power systems for facilities in the greater Baltimore area. You would receive hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development, as well as work with a collaborative team of engineers.*Qualification ** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.* Basic understanding of electrical schematics and engineering drawing* 0-2 years of experience in a related field (internships or co-op experience is considered).* Familiarity with power systems analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD) is a plus.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).*Key Responsibilities: ** Assist in the design and development of electrical power systems and components.* Analyze electrical schematics and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.* Support the implementation and maintenance of power system projects.* Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to solve technical challenges.* Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of power systems.* Participate in the testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment.* Prepare technical reports and documentation.*What's in it for you? *Tuturion reinburmsnet for industry-specific training.
