A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.*Location:* Indianapolis, IN*Department:* Engineering / Maintenance*Reports To:* Engineering Supervisor or Senior Engineering Technician*Job Type:* 12+ Month Contract (with potential to hire or extend)*Job Summary:*The *Associate Engineering Technician *supports the maintenance and operation of pharmaceutical packaging and assembly equipment, including UV curing systems, vision systems, laser marking stations, conveyors, and robotics. This entry-level role assists in troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and documentation under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers. The technician will gain hands-on experience with production equipment and control systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. With personalized mentorship & training and the chance to contribute to impactful projects, this role provides the perfect environment for honing your technical skills and advancing your career through the Elevate Program.*Key Responsibilities:** Assist in performing routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on automated equipment.* Support senior technicians in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.* Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.* Document maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).* Learn and apply cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and standard operating procedures.* Participate in training sessions to build technical knowledge and skills.* Help maintain spare parts inventory and ensure tools and equipment are organized.* Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and reporting equipment inefficiencies.* Communicate effectively with team members, operators, and supervisors.*Minimum Qualifications:** High School diploma or GED required.* Associate degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or similar) or equivalent work experience.* Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.* Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures.* Ability to work safely around live equipment and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.*Preferred Qualifications:** 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.* Familiarity with CMMS software (e.g., Maximo or GMARS).* Experience in a regulated industry (FDA-regulated preferred).* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.* Strong communication and teamwork skills.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $59,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
