Description Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Kuiper Electronic Supply Chain (ESC) team is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead coordination of technical manufacturing and supply chain activities for the PCBA Operations Program Management (OPM) team. The successful candidate will manage consolidated efforts to deliver contract manufacturers' and team initiatives that cut across PCBAs of the team, while maintaining a focus on quality and delivery requirements. Key job responsibilities * Develop and manage processes to drive team performance * Manage contract manufacturers' end-to-end production process for assigned PCBAs * Ensure on-time delivery to meet Kuiper production rate requirements * Drive production planning and execution aligned with cross-functional priorities * Measure, Control and Improve capacity, quality, manufacturing rate/processes, and delivery KPIs at contract manufacturers * Lead technical deep dives to resolve manufacturing blockers and constraints • Balance development and engineering needs to minimize production impacts * Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks * Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and reporting systems NOTE: This role requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time Basic Qualifications * 7+ years of technical product or program management experience * 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience * Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules * Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Preferred Qualifications * 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience * Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
