The Opportunity: Were currently hiring an Operator, Assembly at our EMI Porta location in Arlington Heights, IL. This is a hands-on, fast-paced production role thats critical to our operations. Youll work closely with the Production Supervisor and your teammates to assemble mechanical components, troubleshoot issues, and help keep things moving smoothly. Every product you touch will end up in an elevator system we stand behindquality and safety matter here. What Youll Do: Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery based on blueprints or instructions. Follow production schedules and hit daily output targets. Inspect your work for defects or inconsistenciesnothing leaves your station unless its right. Work with teammates and supervisors to identify and resolve quality or process issues. Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe. Report faulty equipment or materials to your supervisor. Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required. Pitch in on other duties as neededwere all in this together.
