If you feel most comfortable working only Barista shifts, this is available as well. About the Roles Barista position: 4 or 5 Days a week including Saturday and Sunday, you'll serve as a Barista and be Front of House the whole shift from 6:00AM-1:00PM, 8:00AM-4:00PM, or 1:00PM-7:00PM. Hybrid Barista with Weekend Baking Duties position: This is not a typical barista job — it’s a hybrid position that combines early morning hands-on baking with a vital front-of-house customer service role . On weekends , you’ll begin your shift early as a Baker from 4:30AM–7:00AM, preparing our signature breads and baked goods, then transition to the front of the store when we open for the day, serving as a Barista and customer service expert from 7:00AM–1:00PM. During the week , you'll serve as a Barista and be Front of House the whole shift from 6:00AM-1:00PM, 8:00AM-4:00PM, or 1:00PM-7:00PM. We're looking for team members who thrive on interaction — those who love starting conversations, helping customers find their favorite pastry, and keeping the front looking sharp and running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Baker: Back-of-House 4:30AM–7:00AM Bake high-quality breads and pastries to Fresh Baguette standards Prepare doughs and ingredients for the following day Maintain a clean, organized baking area, including fridges and freezers Receive and store deliveries as needed Barista: Front-of-House 6:00AM–7:00PM Serve customers with enthusiasm and warmth — be the face of our bakery Prepare and serve coffee, sandwiches, salads, and pastries Create an inviting store environment by maintaining displays and cleanliness Share product knowledge and recommend items to guests Operate the register with accuracy and confidence Ensure customer satisfaction by solving issues with professionalism and care What We're Looking For A people person who enjoys conversation and hospitality A team player who’s equally comfortable baking in the early hours and engaging with guests once doors open Experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role Comfortable waking up early — the shift begins at 4:30AM Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with baking or food prep is a plus Comfortable with handling cash/card transactions and operating a register Physical stamina and dexterity to work in demanding environments such as lifting 50lbs+, reaching, bending, standing for 8+ hours Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings Schedule 6–8 hour shifts 5 days per week, including weekends Baking Shift: 4:30AM – 1:00PM (Baking → Barista and Customer Service) Barista Shift: Between 6:00AM-7:00PM (Front-of-House) Apply if you love early mornings, fresh bread, and turning customers into regulars.
