We're seeking an early-mid professional with aspirations of future leadership to manage journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and collaborating across business units and accounting teams.This role supports Siemens Mobility North America and offers broad exposure to finance functions. Based in Alpharetta, GA or Sacramento, CA, you’ll report to the Head of Accounting and contribute to ongoing process and system improvements. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like As the POC General Ledger (G/L) Accountant, you will serve as a key liaison between the Siemens Mobility finance organization and business units, ensuring accurate and insightful financial reporting.Manage general ledger accounting and related account reconciliationsAnalyze project accounting data to ensure accurate financial statementsSupport the Head of Accounting in evaluating general ledger impacts on financialsPrepare and present financial statement fluctuation reports to leadershipProvide general ledger data for internal/external audits and divisional reviewsConduct detailed balance sheet reviews and deliver informative analysisCollaborate across all Siemens Mobility finance teams and act as a business interface To thrive in this role, you have: Degree from an accredited college/university in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in a multinational environmentAn understanding of percentage of completion (POC) accounting (construction project accounting).Preferred knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systemsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting toolsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex environmentPersonal attributes / Additional skillsAdaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Building Networks: Develop and leverage relationships within/across teams/work groups to achieve results.Collaboration: Strong teammate who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.We drive a culture of trust, safety, and business integrity, and we'd love to have you join our team!#LI-AW1 $80,000 $103,200
