As the Lead Microsoft 365 Collaboration Engineer, you will oversee the administration, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft 365 applications and be capable of leading a team of application engineers. In addition to technical depth, the individual in this role will have enthusiastic curiosity and a demonstrated ability to create progressive and thoughtful strategic proposals and influence decision makers in a rapidly changing environment.*Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions*· Lead initiatives for implementing new features, functionalities, and services within Microsoft 365 apps including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, as well as the Entra ID platform that support business objectives.· Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the tenant health and performance of the Microsoft 365 environment, including performing audits and assessments to ensure adherence to best practices.· Monitor and optimize the performance of Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring compliance with security and compliance standards.· Serves as an escalation resource for Tier-3 support assisting IT team members and technical engineers to ensure smooth operation of the Microsoft 365 platform.· Automate tasks, workflows, and process improvements using PowerShell, CoreView, Microsoft Power Apps, and other tools.· Effectively collaborate within the team and with other technology partners to research and apply solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.· Manage the Copilot product line and partner with stakeholders for rollout enablement.· Integrate and deploy solutions within Microsoft Teams, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance for user experience.· Ensure issues and requests are tracked appropriately in ServiceNow, Microsoft Planner, and/or other workload management systems and resolved in accordance with SLA requirements across the team.· Analyze the current Active Directory environment to identify both technical and operational challenges and develop solutions for improvement.· Perform tenant level administration, policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives that integrate with Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.· Responsible for working with Microsoft Support to resolve critical issues in a timely manner.· Identifies improvement opportunities for supported solutions and makes strategic recommendations to leadership as necessary.· Create relevant reports and/or metrics for management and other stakeholders as requested.· Participate in a monthly On-Call support rotation for a 24x7x365 enterprise environment.*Minimum Qualifications*· BS/BA degree in related discipline in a related discipline and 5-8 years of experience in a related field; or equivalent work experience.· Experienced in administering SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, the Viva Suite, and other related services.· Capable of administering Microsoft AD and Entra ID support services such as Conditional Access Policies, Application Registrations, Application Proxy and External Access/Collaboration settings.· Demonstrate proven experience with Microsoft Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online Administration in a hybrid environment.· Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.*Preferred Experience and Qualifications*· Management of Microsoft 365 platform in a multi-tenant organization.· Experienced management of the following Microsoft 365 components:o Microsoft Exchange Onlineo Microsoft SharePointo Microsoft Teamso Microsoft Defender for 365· Possess a Microsoft certification, such as Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS -102); Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate (MS - 700); Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, (SC-300).· Knowledgeable of Microsoft Intune Administration._Brooksource provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws._Job Type: ContractPay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayAbility to Commute:* Dunwoody, GA 30346 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:* Dunwoody, GA 30346: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
