*Data Management Specialist - Mergers & Acquisitions*Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.*Hybrid-Morris Plains, NJ**Contract**Job Summary:*A leading global healthcare company is seeking a *Data Management Specialist* to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions by managing the end-to-end data transfer process. This role involves close collaboration with global stakeholders, buyers, and sellers to ensure the smooth migration, validation, and governance of critical data assets in high-value deals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data management, project coordination, and process standardization within a highly regulated industry.*Key Responsibilities:** Work closely with *global business and IT stakeholders* to facilitate seamless data management processes during M&A transactions.* Partner with Technical Leads to *develop and implement data transfer strategies* that align with business and regulatory requirements.* Oversee *data mapping, documentation, ingestion, transfer, and verification* for multi-million-dollar transactions.* Track and report data transfers in *Smartsheet*, monitor project costs, and ensure compliance with project timelines.* Support the *decommissioning and archival of applications*, ensuring data integrity and regulatory adherence.* Contribute to the *standardization of tools, processes, playbooks, and methodologies* to enhance efficiency in acquisitions and divestitures (A&D).*Qualifications & Skills:** Experience in *data management, M&A transactions, or IT project management*, preferably within the *healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry*.* Proficiency in *Smartsheet* or other project tracking tools.* Strong organizational and analytical skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to bridge *technical and business teams*.* Knowledge of *data governance, compliance, and application lifecycle management* is a plus.This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to *high-impact M&A transactions* at a globally recognized healthcare leader, ensuring efficient and secure data transitions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Job Type: ContractPay: Up to $65.00 per hourSchedule:* Monday to FridayWork Location: Hybrid remote in Morris Plains, NJ 07950
