*Construction Project Manager*Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.*New Haven, CT (+ some travel to MA)**Hybrid Onsite**9 Month Contract to Hire/Permanent**Minimum Requirements:** Bachelor's Degree required.* Minimum 6 years of Construction experience serving as a Construction Project Manager with emphasis on projects supporting critical facility infrastructure, manufacturing and research & development facilities.* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, though initial assignment will primarily involve on-site presence and local/regional commute travel between sites.* Must be able to walk up and down stairs including un-improved surfaces at job sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven or irregular terrain. Must be able to perform site/job walks that occasionally require one to be on their feet for the majority of the day.*Key Experience:** Preference for individual with a degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical), construction management, or similar field. Masters degree in related field or business administration is desirable* Demonstrated experience leading projects that create and modify manufacturing facility infrastructure in the med-tech or pharma sector.* Demonstrated experience leading projects that involve heavy coordination of work with critical manufacturing operations to avoid unnecessary down time and mitigate adverse impacts to manufacturing operations.* Demonstrated experience leading projects that involve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls infrastructure in support of complex manufacturing operations.* Demonstrates understanding of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems as well as systems common to lab and medical device manufacturing operations including but not limited to clean dry air, bulk gases, purified water, wastewater treatment and neutralization, emergency power generation and UPS systems, among others.* Experience leading cross functional teams through the design, construction, commissioning, and qualification of Mechanical systems such as HVAC, Compressed Air, Emergency Power Generation, Wastewater treatment plant, among others in a manufacturing environment.* Demonstrates strong financial acumen to develop preconstruction cost estimates as well as formal capital and expense budgets, forecasts, and status reports.* Demonstrates professional, thoughtful, proactive, and concise communication skills to a variety of audiences from project team members, leadership stakeholders, and regulators.* Experience working within an ISO13485 quality management system and ensuring good documentation practices.* Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.* Proficient in use of construction management software including Procore, and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, etc. Proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM software is a plus.* Ability to read and interpret construction design drawings and familiarity with the customary construction design development process.* Familiarity with common construction delivery methods and contract types.* Teamwork oriented with good interpersonal relations, positive attitude, and work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company.* OSHA 30 Hour construction safety certification or equivalent expertise managing jobsite safety is a bonus* Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
