OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer with education and experience to join the Engineering Team at one of our premier properties at the base of a world class ski resort: The Charter at Beaver Creek. The person in this role will be able to repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot systems, machines, tools, and equipment for the purpose of providing well-maintained building, grounds, irrigation, and utility systems of the properties in order to ensure a satisfactory guest experience as well as keep the Association buildings in good condition, and to provide leadership and training to engineering staff regarding specific engineering projects. If you are ready to take on a challenging role that provides opportunities for career development and growth within a world class organization, we invite you to apply.ResponsibilitiesInspect and evaluate systems and equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, AV, fire, restaurant, etc.) to ensure proper functioning and identify issues or potential improvementsPerform routine preventative maintenance and repairs in units, common areas, pools, and other property facilitiesTroubleshoot equipment failures using available resources to determine causes and recommend effective repair or replacement solutionsRespond promptly to work orders from guests, owners, and staff, ensuring timely resolutionMaintain organized, clean workspaces and storerooms; ensure tools and equipment are properly storedSupport and help implement preventative maintenance software; assist team in tracking and managing asset upkeepCommunicate effectively with internal departments and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and project updatesLocation and StartLocation: The Charter, Beaver CreekStart Date: ASAPEmployment DetailsEmployment Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundPay Rate: $29– $35/hour depending on experienceSchedule: 5 days per week, including holidays and weekends with some flexibility on days offPosting Closes: 9/20/2025 or when filledMinimum RequirementsOne of the following:A bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, facilities maintenance, or a related field with hands-on experienceA certificate from a college or trade school in facilities maintenance or similar, plus 3–6 years of relevant experience and/or trainingActive status as a licensed or apprentice plumber or HVAC technicianEngineering: Knowledge of engineering principles applicable to facilities maintenance, with solid expertise in Mechanical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Pools/Spas, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.Analysis: Ability to evaluate building systems and structures to identify current or potential problems and provide recommendations.Self-Motivated: Ability to independently identify issues and develop solutions.Benefits & PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
