OverviewWe are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help deliver the next generation web and mobile technology solutions for our federal health client. The responsibilities of this position will be to provide DevOps automation and development of cloud-based services, such as AWS. This position is responsible for deploying, updating, and testing enterprise systems in various cloud environments and for maintaining our pipeline tools. The candidate is required to coordinate across multiple groups, often involving multiple stakeholders.We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer that;Can help maintain our pipelines, add new features, troubleshoot issues, and make them more robust.Can maintain and update our self-hosted instances of Jenkins and Bitbucket.Is extremely proficient with Jenkins jobs and Jenkins (groovy) scriptsIs extremely proficient with AWS infrastructure including AMI/EC2, CloudFormation and CodeDeploy.Has problem solving ability & professionalism and someone that can take ownership of all of the above and free our team from some of the day-to-day issues we run into.Base pay range$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yrPrimary ResponsibilitiesWork closely with development and infrastructure teams to integrate their projects into cloud environments and ensure ongoing support once there.Maintain DevOps tools with regular software upgrades, etc (Jenkins and Bitbucket).Be a DevOps champion - work closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development lifecycle.Dive deep into the software stack to troubleshoot as needed.Build engineering automation and productivity tools to streamline and scale applications in the cloud environment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.Work with a team of peers who are smart, professional, and share a passion for what they're creating.Look for and call-out areas of improvement for both process and tooling.QualificationsMust be a U.S. Citizen.Experience working with and maintaining Jenkins.A good understanding of Groovy scripting, particularly for building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines.Experience working with and maintaining git-based tools such as BitbucketAWS experience, particularly with EC2, CloudFormation and CodeDeploy (certifications are a bonus).Strong general scripting (shell and Groovy) and automation skills.Basic programming knowledge to understand application logic and assist in troubleshooting.Solid experience and background working with Cloud Services.Experience with Infrastructure as Code.Familiarity with Drupal and nginx (or general web development experience) is a plus.Familiarity with Akamai or CDN services is a plus.A willingness to learn, step in, and help investigate areas you may not have extensive experience in.Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Public Trust clearance is required.Must be able to pass a government background check for federal contracting work.Permanent Resident Card (I-551) holders are not eligible to apply.
