As the Head of Cloud & Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating the teams in charge of cloud services, on-prem data centres, servers, storage, networking, end-user devices, and AI-driven infrastructure optimization, to ensure consistently robust, scalable, and secure services and support. You will work closely with the Chief Technology & Information Officer and other Technology leaders to design and execute on Aritzia’s technology roadmap. With people at the heart of everything you do, you will support your high-potential people to grow rewarding careers at Aritzia — while enjoying one yourself.THE ROLEAs the Head of Cloud & Infrastructure, you will lead the team to:E stablish a clear vision and strategic direction for Cloud & Infrastructure to p rovide a powerful, modern, secure, robust, scalable, and intelligent technology infrastructure foundation that powers Aritzi a and our innovation agendaOversee data centre and cloud services, managing hybrid environments across on-prem and cloud platformsProvide agile and cost-effective cloud hosting services and maintain reliable storage systems, integrating AI-driven data lifecycle managementOwn resilient and high-performance networks and telecommunications across corporate, retail, and remote environments, incorporating AI-based traffic analysis and anomaly detectionDeliver intuitive and secure modern workplace technology experiences across devices, collaboration tools, and end-user support services, enabling productivity and innovation across the organizationDetermine the strategy for AI integration across infrastructure operations, including predictive maintenance, intelligent workload orchestration, automated incident response, and continuous optimization of resource utilizationWork with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experienceTHE QUALIFICATIONSThe Head of Cloud & Infrastructure has:Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent executive-level experience in enterprise infrastructure and cloud technologies10+ years of progressive leadership experience in cloud infrastructure, data centre operations, and enterprise technology platforms, including AI-driven systemsProven expertise in designing and managing hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance optimizationDemonstrated experience integrating AI and machine learning into infrastructure operations, including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and anomaly detectionDeep understanding of infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines for modern infrastructure deliveryStrong knowledge of enterprise networking, storage architecture, and end-user computing, with experience implementing AI-enhanced monitoring and self-healing systemsFamiliarity with AI governance, model lifecycle management, and ethical considerations in deploying intelligent systems across infrastructureStrategic mindset to evaluate emerging technologies and align infrastructure investments with business objectives and ROIExperience leading cross-functional teams in the execution of large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives, including cloud migration and AI adoptionProficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and data governance practices across cloud and on-prem environmentsStrong financial acumen to manage departmental budgets, optimize spending, and assess cost-benefit of AI and infrastructure investmentsAbility to develop and execute technology roadmaps that incorporate AI capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and resilienceCommitment to talent development, with experience mentoring high-performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvementA commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia/'s Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence executive leadership and drive enterprise-wide technology adoptionThe ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the teamA dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add valueA deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operateTHE COMPENSATIONThe typical hiring range for this position is $200,000–$400,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.We are always looking for top talent.
