OverviewDirector, Media Investment leads the development and execution of cross-channel media investment strategies with third-party partners across the media ecosystem. This role translates media strategy into actionable investment plans that drive performance, efficiency, and innovation for our clients. The Director will oversee a team of investment managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution and continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep media expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving results through data-informed decision-making and operational excellence.Primary responsibilitiesLead the development of investment strategies across managed-service digital media channels, ensuring alignment with client goals and broader media strategy.Oversee execution of large-scale media campaigns, ensuring quality, accuracy, and performance across all touchpoints.Serve as a senior point of contact for internal teams and clients on media investment-related matters, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance.Partner with Strategy and Analytics teams to develop measurement frameworks and translate insights into actionable optimizations.Drive innovation in media investment processes, tools, and partnerships to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Manage and mentor a team of media investment professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.Collaborate with Client Leadership and Project Management to ensure seamless delivery of investment plans and reporting.Contribute to business growth through identification of new opportunities and expansion of existing engagements.Qualifications / Skillsets8–10+ years of cross-channel digital media investment experience working with third-party partners (e.g., Ogury, Chicory)Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving strategic media initiativesStrong understanding of media planning, buying, and performance analysis using Prisma as the primary platformExperience with Retail Media Networks, CPG brands, and commerce media preferredExcellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholdersStrong analytical thinking and financial acumenProficiency in media tools and platforms (e.g., Prisma, Excel, PowerPoint)Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentPassion for innovation and continuous improvementCompany / Equal OpportunityMars United Commerce is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will recruit, hire, train and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, ancestry, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability or handicap, HIV, veteran, marital or family status, or any other status or condition protected by applicable state and/or federal laws, except where a bona fide occupational qualification applies.Mars United Commerce has developed a wide variety of inclusive benefit plans and policies that address and promote the needs of all employees and their family members, including comprehensive group health plans, a parental leave program that includes paid maternity and paternity benefits for pregnancy, adoption and surrogacy, flexible paid time off, a broad and confidential employee assistance program, ongoing wellness support initiatives, trusted financial health advice and guidance, promotion of education through tuition support and assistance, and a flexible and supportive work environment and pensation & BenefitsCompensation Range: $119,510 - $188,025 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
