CHIEF ESTIMATOR / ESTIMATING LEAD — Gulf South Roofing LLC We need a sharp, driven Estimator ready to own the bid process, protect margins, mentor a junior estimator, and help improve how we price and track our work. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Lead estimating for commercial roofing and related projects ✅ Own bid strategy, quantity takeoffs, and proposal development ✅ Work closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless handoffs ✅ Mentor and develop our junior estimator (currently learning fast) ✅ Analyze job costs, support margin protection, track financial performance ✅ Improve estimating processes, tools, and templates as part of system growth ✅ Assist in building client relationships and growing the pipeline You’ll Thrive Here If You: ✅ Have 5+ years in construction estimating — roofing highly preferred ✅ Are detail-oriented, disciplined, and margin-conscious ✅ Like mentoring — helping others grow makes the whole team stronger ✅ Understand job costing, profit protection, and operational handoffs ✅ Are comfortable improving processes, not just following the old way ✅ Want to help grow a business, not just punch the clock Competitive pay, incentives tied to performance and margins, leadership path available.
