Neuro Hospitalist APP

A community hospital in Orange County, NY is currently seeking a Neuro Hospitalist APP to join their growing team. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Ongoing (also open to contract to hire) Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off Hours: 7am-7pm Responsibilities: The Neuro Hospitalist APP will: Provide in-house neuro coverage on a shift-based schedule Collaborate closely with hospital nursing staff, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and outpatient OB/GYN providers Conduct neurological consultations and emergency interventions as needed Supervise and support care of patients admitted for neurological issues Round on patients pre and post neurosurgical procedures Ensure thorough documentation and clear communication in patient records and provider handoffs Provide other services as needed Qualifications: NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Experience in Neurology (preferred) or Critical Care Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
