Business Development Manager (Mandarin Speaking) Location: San Diego Employment Type: Full-Time Company Profile A leading and fast-growing preclinical Contract Research Organization (CRO) is seeking a driven and scientifically minded Business Development Manager fluent in Mandarin. The organization partners with biotech and pharmaceutical companies to deliver innovative solutions that accelerate drug discovery and development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, commercial team, and leverage your PhD (no Business Development experience is required). You will lead on outreach and marketing initiatives to prospective customers to build brand awareness and develop commercial scientific solutions. A key aspect of the role is to explore and secure business partnerships and opportunities. Key Responsibilities Develop your academic and commercial business skills. Lead outreach to prospective customers. Manage negotiations and secure new contracts. Support marketing and brand awareness campaigns. Attend relevant conferences. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in a Life Science discipline (e.g., Immunology, Oncology, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related area). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex scientific concepts. Willingness and flexibility to travel. Understanding and strong interest in biopharmaceutical science and business. Fluent in Mandarin and English , both written and spoken.
