Functional Description The logistics department’s primary responsibilities will include: data entry, shipping and receiving customer items, maintaining and handling physical inventory, warehouse and facility upkeep. This position will also serve as a delivery driver on an as-needed basis to drive to UPS, Fed Ex, USPS or to a customer site. Scope of Outcomes The core responsibilities for this position include: Perform work to ISO standards Assist with organizing and prioritizing team workflow Process and verify outbound shipments Deliver shipments to couriers, airports, or customer sites as needed Identify, correct, and report shipment exceptions Receive, coordinate, reconcile, and report incoming shipments Identify, quarantine. and report non-conforming products Assist in organization and data accuracy of inventory system Packaging inventory Report inventory discrepancies Back-up to report/reconcile critical inventory non-conformities to production team Back-up to report inefficiencies to management Assist in developing and improving communication methods with other departments Assist in coordinating freight couriers Assist with warehouse and facilities upkeep Qualifications Required qualifications include: 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving role Good communication and organizational skills Experience with data entry and inventory software (e.g.: Excel, Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) High school diploma or GED required Minimum 18 years of age Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle report Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision Maintain great attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize 7:30am-4:30pm pm shift Environmental and Physical Requirements Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb ladders and stairs Ability to lift 75 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Functional Description The logistics department’s primary responsibilities will include: data entry, shipping and receiving customer items, maintaining and handling physical inventory, warehouse and facility upkeep.
